I create abstract art as a way of processing emotion through intuitive expression, color, texture, and layered mark-making. What began as a personal form of healing during difficult seasons of my life has become a lifelong creative practice that continues to ground, inspire, and transform me.
Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media on canvas and wood, I approach each painting without a fixed plan, allowing color, feeling, and instinct to guide the process. Inspired by nature, changing seasons, music, and the emotional landscapes of everyday life, my work explores themes of reflection, growth, beauty, and connection.
Through layers that are built, obscured, and revealed over time, I aim to create paintings that feel both personal and universal. My hope is that the work invites viewers to pause, feel, remember, and find meaning within their own experiences.
I hope each painting brings a sense of warmth, beauty, and emotional resonance to the spaces it inhabits.
