About Me

Hi, I'm Jessica, an artist based in Southern California

My work is inspired by color, texture, nature, and the emotional landscapes of everyday life. I paint because it heals me.

I first fell in love with painting while studying at the University of California, San Diego. Although my early career was in Human Resources, creativity remained a constant thread throughout my life. Years later, while on maternity leave with my youngest daughter, I found my way back to painting and quickly rediscovered how much I needed it.

In 2016, I began painting daily and sharing my work online. The following year, I released my first abstract collection and officially launched my art business. Today, I’m grateful that my work hangs in lovely homes around the world.

Over the years, painting has become more than a creative practice. It has been a way to process emotion, navigate life’s challenges, and reconnect with myself through the act of making. This journey eventually led me to study therapeutic art, deepening my belief in creativity as a meaningful form of self-expression and emotional well-being.

I paint from my home studio in Southern California, often inspired by changing seasons, the ocean, music, collected objects, and quiet moments at home. When I’m not painting, writing, or making videos, I enjoy reading, collecting records, drinking tea, and spending time with family and friends.

Thank you for being here. 🖤
