B I O : 

Hi, I’m Jessica Kinsella, an abstract artist based in Southern California. I love creating paintings that bring color, texture, and life into a space. My work is inspired by nature, emotion, and the quiet moments of everyday life. Painting is my way of expressing what can’t always be put into words.

I first fell in love with painting while studying at UC San Diego. Even though I started my career in Human Resources, I never let go of my creative side. Over the years, I found ways to return to art, experimenting, learning online, and slowly building a practice that felt like my own. In 2016, I began painting daily and sharing the journey online. The following year, I released my first abstract collection and officially started my art business. Since then, my paintings have found their way into homes around the world, connecting with collectors who resonate with the heart and personal stories in my work. I am also certified in therapeutic art, which has deepened my belief in creativity as a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery.

These days, I paint in my home studio, surrounded by seasonal inspiration. Whether it’s a thrifted find, a color palette, or a moment from everyday life, I love turning those sparks into paintings that feel personal and full of life. My hope is that each piece brings a feeling of warmth, a smile, or a story into the home where it lives.

When I’m not painting or making videos, I enjoy drinking tea, rebuilding my CD collection, playing vinyl records, watching movies, and jotting down recipes or ideas as they come to me. I also love spending time with family and friends, visiting the ocean, hanging out at cafes, or just being cozy at home. I live in Temecula, California with my husband and two daughters, while my son lives in San Diego with his fiancée. Thank you so much for being here and taking the time to connect with my work 🖤
