About

About my Art

Hi, I’m Jessica Kinsella, an artist inspired by the seasons, nature, and everyday moments. My work is rooted in creating pieces that feel cozy, layered, and thoughtfully eclectic, bringing warmth, texture, and story into your home.

The heart of my work is abstract paintings and prints that bring color, texture, and life into a space. My pieces are inspired by emotion, fleeting moments, and the beauty found in everyday life. Painting is my way of expressing what can’t always be put into words. I also create other handmade pieces that change with the seasons.

My Journey

I fell in love with painting while studying at UC San Diego. Although my early career was in Human Resources, I never let go of my creative side. In 2016, I began painting daily and sharing my journey online. The following year, I released my first abstract collection and officially launched my art business. Since then, my work has found homes around the world, connecting with collectors who resonate with the heart and story in each piece. I am also certified in therapeutic art, which deepened my belief in creativity as a tool for self-expression and reflection.

I paint in my home studio surrounded by seasonal inspiration. Whether it’s a color palette, a thrifted find, or a fleeting moment from everyday life, I love turning those sparks into paintings that feel personal and full of life. Each piece is meant to spark joy, bring warmth, or tell a story in the home where it lives. This focus on reflection, creativity, and daily inspiration also guides the work I share in my seasonal guides, courses, and workbooks.

When I’m not painting or making videos, I enjoy tea, collecting records, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I live in Southern California with my husband and children, and I visit the ocean as often as I can.

Thank you for being here 🖤
